Position Summary
The School of Social Work is seeking a Director of Academic Processes & Data Operations. In this position, you will provide oversight and direction to School of Social Work relative to data needs and operations including areas of enrollment management, quality improvement & data processing, strategic project support, and overall leadership within the School of Social Work. The Director of Academic Processes & Data Operations:
- Monitors enrollment data, trends, analysis, assures accuracy of student program coding and billing, and assists with course registration monitoring and forecasting.
- Collaborates to develop and implement registration and enrollment monitoring for undergraduate courses and all micro credentials.
- Consults with senior leadership and appropriate staff within the school on the design, development, and implementation of quality improvement (QI) plans and planning/monitoring process as it relates to core school functions.
- Assists in coordinating the school’s communication needs related to data sources at the university and school levels, and safe data handling, privacy, and confidentiality of electronic and printed information.
- Directs and manages student information systems to ensure the timely implementation of course evaluations, reporting of teaching evaluations, and curricular and program evaluations.
- Develops queries, reports, strategies and maintains secure file access for routinely requested data reports. Provides training of staff and faculty to access basic reports.
- Works with faculty/staff to assist with program evaluations, enrollment focused data projects, application review system and CRM, and reaccreditation process and initiatives.
- Coordinates data collection and analysis to advise and create internal and external reports. Acts as Liaison to and represents the School’s interest on central data and information committees, work groups, and information initiatives.
- Monitors and implements initiatives related to the School of Social Work Strategic Plan. Facilitates committee meetings, presentation materials and agendas.
- Supports Faculty retention and promotion projects and process, and other central projects related to data management and reporting.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of experience or master’s degree with 1 year of experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Data Analytics, or other relevant master or doctoral degree
- Knowledge and skills using ACCESS, Excel, SPSS, Tableau, Slate, Sonya, Salesforce or similar software.
- Experience with lean process, quality improvement, report writing, data base management, adopting new software system.
- Essential technical skills (data preparation, statistical analysis, applied analytics, programming,
data visualization)
- Essential interpersonal skills (critical thinking, creative problem solving, communication and
presentation skills, intellectual curiosity)
- Experience managing teams, supervising, and/or project management
