ABOUT VINUNIVERSITY

VinUniversity (VinUni: https://vinuni.edu.vn/) is a private, not-for-profit Vietnamese university established with a mission to develop talents for the future and become a university of excellence based on international standards. The university integrates the models of excellent international universities with the unique cultural and economic characteristics of Vietnam,  and aspires to become a world-class university. VinUni inaugurated its first batch of students in 2020. Three years later, in October 2023, it became the youngest university in the Asia-Pacific region to receive Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) 5 stars in 7 categories.

VinUni has strategic collaborations with the world’s leading universities, including Cornell University and the University of Pennsylvania. These universities have become close advisors and crucial enablers in establishing the four colleges at VinUni: College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), College of Business and Management (CBM), College of Engineering and Computer Science (CECS), and College of Health Sciences (CHS). Every aspect of the University: its curricula, research, faculty, student body, facilities, and campus life, is being developed to meet the highest standards set by the world’s leading accrediting organizations, such as ABET, AACSB.  Recently, VinUniversity's CHS has achieved ACGME International accreditation for its Graduate Medical Education programs while the nursing programs have achieved candidacy for America Council for Nursing Education accreditation. These provide a significant benchmark for quality in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.

VinUni’s founding benefactor Vingroup is one of the biggest private conglomerates in Asia with the largest market capitalization value in Vietnam. As a multisector corporation, Vingroup focuses on three main areas: Industrials &Technology; Services and Social Enterprises. VinUni is proud to be a part of the Vingroup ecosystem, giving its students opportunities to connect with several high quality research institutes (such as VinAI and VinBigData), pioneering green mobility enterprises (such as VinFast and GSM), and leading Vietnamese service companies (such as Vinpearl, Vinmec, and Vinhomes).

THE COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCES

The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) was established in 2023 with the vision to become the leading source for liberal arts education at the highest international standards, inspiring and equipping tomorrow’s leaders for Vietnam and beyond. CAS is committed to providing the majority of VinUni’s General Education programs and coordinating other colleges’ general education courses, offering inter-, multi-, and trans-disciplinary programs. We aim to offer excellence in undergraduate and graduate education and research, diversity, intellectual curiosity, and personalized, lifelong learning.

Currently, CAS offers three-degree programs: Bachelor of Economics, Bachelor of Psychology, and Bachelor of Multimedia Communications. Our programs aim for flexibility, allowing students to easily explore different career paths. Students can choose to minor or double major in another program at the College of Arts and Sciences or from select programs in other colleges, such as “Communications and Economics,” “Psychology and Marketing,” or “Communications and Entrepreneurship.” Students will have internship opportunities in a professional working environment at leading prestigious corporations and organizations inside and outside the Vingroup ecosystem, including Vinschool, Vinpearl, Vinhomes, McKinsey, Marriott, Vietnam Airlines, Standard Chartered Bank, Techcombank, BCG, Ernst & Young, KPMG, Viettel, among others.
